For many of us, you had a loved one die of COVID 19. This was a wake up call to the United States. For this reason you must vote next month. Volunteering in a hospital opened my eyes wide. I saw death every day. I feel it was worse than the 1980’s AIDS epidemic. I was younger and studying medicine at that time. I saw many of my friends die. In the hospital emergency room in March to May I saw many older individuals die gasping for breath. I also saw younger individuals die. I lost patients in my own practice.

The good news…In April, Connecticut’s insurance companies barred life insurance underwriters from asking about COVID 19. I feel this is a huge step in the right direction. They cannot even ask if you quarantined during this time
