Dementia is a large umbrella term which includes not only Alzheimer's but also vascular dementia and other debilitating diseases. Nutritional deficiencies mimic dementia symptoms - especially B12 and folate deficiency. Sticking to a mind dietary lifestyle is associated with a 30-35 % lower risk of cognitive impairment. We all need to eat better.
