NOVEMBER 6, 2018 STOP NSAIDS

Several studies have been published linking the over the counter pain medications to risk of a heart attack ( myocardial infarction) A study published in 2017 in the British Medical Journal confirmed the risk which we knew probably existed. What we didn’t know that was published was that the risk can begin as soon as one week after beginning to take these medications

The medications that we are discussing are the following

  1. Ibroprofen ( Advi, Motrin ); 2. Diclofenac ( Voltarenm) ; 3. Celecoxib ( Celebrex); 4. Naproxen ( Midol. Aleve)

The higher the dose, the higher the risk

Do not take these medications. Consult your health care practitioner

Until tomorrow…
